The Charlotte era un locale per concerti a Leicester situato su Oxford Street di fronte all'Universita De Montfort. Aveva una capienza di circa 400 persone e ospitava spettacoli dal vivo regolarmente.
L'edificio era originariamente denominato Princess Charlotte in onore della figlia del re George IV. Il nome fu cambiato in The Charlotte nel 1990 e chiuse nel marzo 2010.
Il locale ha sostenuto artisti emergenti e affermati, tra cui Radiohead, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Snow Patrol, Blur e The Killers durante la sua esistenza.
Il luogo era facile da raggiungere a piedi in quanto si trovava su una strada trafficata nel centro citta con buoni collegamenti ai trasporti pubblici. I visitatori potevano esplorare rapidamente la zona e trovare parcheggio nelle vicinanze senza difficolta.
Dopo la chiusura, l'edificio ha subito diverse trasformazioni e ha funzionato brevemente come un pub di birra artigianale. Oggi ospita un supermercato asiatico e ha completamente cambiato la sua funzione.
