The Troy Savings Bank occupies a granite building with a high-domed ceiling, ornate frescoes, and a grand concert hall on the upper floor.
The financial institution, established in 1823, moved to this French Renaissance structure in 1875, designed by prominent architect George B. Post.
The concert hall features an 1890 Odell organ, the largest intact nineteenth-century concert organ remaining in the United States today.
Located at 30 Second Street, the venue presents over 100 musical performances yearly, including classical concerts, plays, and the Music at Noon series.
The narrow rectangular shape and wooden seats of the concert hall create exceptional acoustics, allowing sound to reach every corner of the space.
