Historic center of Santana de Parnaíba, Distretto coloniale patrimonio a Santana de Parnaíba, Brasile.
Il centro storico contiene 209 edifici coloniali costruiti con tecniche tradizionali di terra battuta e graticcio risalenti al XIX secolo.
L'insediamento iniziò nel 1561 quando l'esploratore portoghese Manuel Fernandes Ramos stabilì una base durante la ricerca dell'oro in questa regione.
La rappresentazione della Passione durante la Settimana Santa attira 35.000 visitatori nel centro storico, rendendola una delle più grandi del Brasile.
Il governo municipale ha investito un milione di reais in progetti di conservazione, inclusi i restauri del Museo Anhanguera e della dimora Monsignor Paulo Florêncio.
Il Progetto Scuola di Arti e Mestieri, istituito nel 1999, forma giovani nelle tecniche di costruzione storica per mantenere gli edifici coloniali.
